Opportunities to Connect:
  1. Revive Legacy (This Month!) – A gathering for Pastors and Leaders 55 and older who desire to be Lifelong Learners. There is so much work to be done and wellness is not an abstract, subjective notion that exists external of our calling as Ministers of the Gospel. As Spirit-Filled carriers of Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy, we should also ascribe as Ambassadors of “Life More Abundantly” to be the best versions of ourselves; mind, body, and spirit. Learn More and Register Today! (Revive Legacy - The Foursquare Church | Brushfire

  2. LPU-VA Preview Day (March 22-23)
“The focus is finding and nurturing the next generation of Christ-centered, spirit-filled leaders. The event gives the next generation a vision for their future, a validation of their unique calling and purpose, and a pathway for preparation to be a kingdom leader who will stand the test of time – and culture. We will also be hosting a leader roundtable to hear from you and share vision for the future - your voice is important. We are seeing too many young people walk away.” Dr. Angie Richey.

TOGETHER ON A MISSION
A message from Pastor Chanda M. Crutcher Atlantic District Supervisor

Atlantic District Pastors and Leaders,

“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy.”

Reflecting as I entered the third calendar year as the Atlantic District Supervisor, the question that garnered a great deal of time during my journaling was...

“How have things become complicated, where “simple” would serve best?”

“When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan. For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified. I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling. And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 NLT

As we transition from the month of “Fresh Beginnings” to the month of “Love” and "Heart Health" our time of Prayer and Fasting has tangibly calibrated my personal focus and informed my commitment to intentionality in this season. I’ve been reminded the last few weeks as we continue to navigate the dynamic realities of ministry and life, that our Covenant Relationships matter most and “mission” best when we allow the Holy Spirit to be our Chief Informant.

“Be Confident, that God began a good work in you! And He will complete it!

Let us Pray:

Lord, You alone are Sovereign. Please forgive us for where we own what we can't fully see with insecurities that sabotage our stewardship. Let us be Bold and Courageous knowing that You are Faithful.

Heal and Equip us to be Practitioners of Peace in our war-torn world. Help us to shift narratives, when necessary, from the many things that matter to those that Matter Most.

Jesus, You are Savior. Jesus, You are Healer. Baptizer of the Holy Spirit. And we watch and pray with Great Anticipation for Your Triumphant Return as King of Kings!

Amen.
